RESULT Sports created a new and groundbreaking Global Benchmarking Analysis of football clubs in Digital Media.
This pioneering initiative was created by RESULT Sports to bring together the world’s leading digital football clubs, comparing their individual digital evolution during the past year (2016).
More than 600 football organisations from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America and North America have been analysed, evaluated and monitored. The leading hundred football clubs are revealed here, but this blog article will be extended and more clubs shown.
It felt like a huge task, almost Olympic by comparison, which we took literally, we clustered and coloured the football clubs using the colours of the Olympic rings. Red represents The Americas, Blue for Europe, Yellow for Asia, Green for Australia and Black for Africa. Since black is rather challenging, we opted for a blank white line for the teams from the African continent. Perhaps surprisingly there are quite a few African clubs within the Top 200.
Before you start evaluating and analyzing, please note:
If two teams from the same continent are following each other in the ranking, the colour for the second club has been slightly adjusted. Promoted teams (P) or relegated teams (R) are present with the corresponding character. And now, lets get started…
